Additional Information and Tips

for Public Parties

Only the parents of the birthday child are welcome to skate free (no subsitutions please).

Items included: All public birthday packages include: invitations, admission and regular skate rental for the birthday child and the number of guests you included in your reservation to either ice or roller skate, reserved party table for 1 hour (near the fireplace if an ice party) with complete table settings, one ice cream cup per child, and one free pass for the birthday child to come back to skate again. Guests may skate for the ENTIRE public session.
The bronze package also includes 2 pitchers of soft drinks.
The silver package includes unlimited soft drinks during the table time and a food choice of 2 large 16-inch pizzas for the party OR a hot dog or corn dog plus chips for each person.
The gold package includes everything in the silver package, plus unlimited ice AND roller skating and skate rental, use of the party table for 1 & 1/4 hour, a free skating pass and a novelty item for each party attendee, and a birthday cake which serves 10-15.

Arrival: Your party host/hostess will be here at least 30 minutes prior to your party time to set up your party tables and be able to greet your guests when they arrive. The party parents are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early. Upon your arrival, you may take your cake to the snack bar. A party host/hostess will then assist you with your party preparations. As your guests arrive, we will check them in and a stamp will be placed on their hand. This allows us to distinguish how many guests are here for skating and refreshments. Only the guests with stamped hands will receive free regular skate rental and refreshments. A basket with the birthday child's name will be available to place gifts in. The party host/hostess will bring this basket to the table. Gifts can be opened in the party area at your table during your party table time.

Food: A birthday cake or cookies or cupcakes are allowed for registered parties only. The Skatium does not provide this unless you have purchased the Gold Package. No other outside food or drinks are allowed at any time. The Skatium will provide 2 pitchers of soft drinks for the party and one ice cream cup per child. If you purchased the silver or gold package, unlimited soft drinks during table time plus 1 hot dog or corn dog plus chips is provided for each guest, or 2 large pizzas will be provided for the party. Additional items may be purchased and included on your final bill. These items include: additional soft drink pitchers $3.00, large one-topping pizzas $10.00, hot dogs $1.00, corndogs $1.00, and nachos $1.50. If you know in advance that you will desire additional food, please let us know when you reserve your party. Otherwise, please inform your hostess if any extras are needed.

Table: Due to our limited space in the party area, seating will be provided only to those guests included on your guest list. Parents of your guests are welcome. However, we cannot guarantee them a place to sit. We will do our best to accomodate them and appreciate your cooperation. At the end of your party table reservation, we will need to clear the table so that we may set up for other parties. Although your party is over, you and your guests are welcome to skate until the end of the current session.

Settling Your Bill: At the end of your party table reservation, your host/hostess will present you with your bill for any extra guests or items, along with the birthday child's free pass. Please settle the bill at this time with your host/hostess. Tips are welcomed and appreciated.

Note: If your party arrives late or you need to delay your party table time, we will do our best to accommodate you or move you to another party table time, if available. However, our parties are set on a very strict schedule so that we can provide everyone with a great Arkansas Skatium birthday party experience.
