Roller Skating Classes
- Tuesdays 7:00p.m.-8:30p.m.
Learn to Skate
- Continuous Enrollment all year 'round.
- Can start at any time.
- All ages, 4 and up.
- Adults too!!
- Ice skates are included FREE with initial enrollment, and are yours to keep!!
- Class meets twice a week for 1 hour.

- Practice 9:30a.m.-10:00a.m.

- Instruction 6:00p.m.-6:30p.m.

- Pay per Level:
- Snowplow Sam 1, 2 & 3 and Basic 1 & 2 levels: $100 each level.
- Basic 3 - 8 levels: $180 each level.

- Basic levels 1-4 discount package: $400
- Basic levels 5-8 discount package: $640

- Price includes:
- 30 minutes of group instruction twice a week.
- Free unlimited admission to public sessions while enrolled in any class.
- First time sign-ups receive a free pair of beginner skates (skates fit students up to 90 pounds).

- U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills (1 year membership).
- Sorry, no make-up classes.
- Levels:
- Learn-to-Skate classes go from Snowplow Sam 1 to Basic 8.
- A student moves to the next level when he or she tests out of his or her current level.
- Snowplow Sam 1, 2, and 3 added together are all equal to Basic 1. These classes are designed for the 4 and 5 year old students to give them a better grasp of the fundamentals.
- Once a child leaves Snowplow Sam 3, he or she moves on to Basic 2.
- Students 6 and up begin in Basic 1 and progress to Basic 8.

- Test Sessions:
- Test Sessions occur once every 6 weeks.
- Official Test Sessions are only on Saturdays, after class from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Students are encouraged, but not required, to wear exhibition attire (see below).
- Unofficial Test Sessions are only on Tuesdays, and the students are tested during classes to make up the test if they miss a test session. They may wear regular clothes.
- The cost is $10, which includes the patch.
- A list of the students to be tested is posted on the exit door before test sessions.
- Exhibitions
- The Learn-to-Skate class will host exhibitions throughout the year.
- These are recitals for ice skating that allow students to show off what they have learned during classes.
- Exhibition attire:
- Females: skating dress and tights
- Males: black pants and fitted shirt
- Competitions:
- The Learn-to-Skate class also hosts some competitions during the year.
- These competitions offer students a friendly environment where they may gain experience competing against their peers doing moves that they have learned in class.
- Students compete with others in their same level.
- What to wear:
- Students: Dress warmly in winter clothing, such as jackets, hats, scarves, or gloves.
- Parents & spectators: Heaters hang above the bleachers, but the rink as a whole is not heated, so bring winter clothing and blankets as well.
- Crazy Days
- Crazy Days are fun days that spice classes up a bit.
- They are designed to allow students to come to class expecting a little different routine.
- Students are not required to participate in these days, but may if they would like to.

Dance & Fitness
- Variety of classes
- Ballet, LTS Basic Skill Levels 1-3: Tuesdays, 4:45-5:30p.m.
- Ballet, LTS Basic Skill Levels 4-6: Tuesdays, 5:30-6:15p.m.
- Ballet-Pilates, Freestyle: Tuesdays, 6:15-7:00p.m.
- Adult Pilates-Toning: Tuesdays, 7:00-7:45p.m.
- Adult Pilates-Toning: Wednesdays, 5:45-6:30p.m.
- All classes held in the ballet room at the Skatium.
- Monthly Tuition is $40.

Learn to Play Hockey
- Newly redesigned!
- This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of youth ice hockey in a FUN and FRIENDLY environment.
- Teaches the basic skating prinicples for hockey, with the intention that a skater will be able to effectively skate well enough to play hockey.
- Saturdays, 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
- Three levels, 8 weeks each
- Try your first class FREE! before you sign up.
- Helmets required.
- Helmets, sticks, and equipment available for loan during class.
- Inital enrollment (Level One): Choose from the following options:
- White Hockey:
- 8 weeks of skating sessions
- Custom-fitted hockey skates included
- Skating Pass, to allow FREE admission to any Public Ice Skating Session
- Cost is $125.00, plus a registration fee of $49.00, plus tax
- Blue Hockey:
- 8 weeks of skating sessions
- Custom-fitted hockey skates included
- Skating Pass, to allow FREE admission to any Public Ice Skating Session
- Also includes custom-fitted helmet, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, and neck protector
- Cost is $229.99, plus a registration fee of $49.00, plus tax
- Red Hockey:
- 8 weeks of skating sessions
- Custom-fitted hockey skates included
- Skating Pass, to allow FREE admission to any Public Ice Skating Session
- Also includes custom-fitted helmet, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, neck protector, shoulder pads, pants, stick, socks and jersey

- Secondary enrollment (Levels Two and Three):

Beginner Adult Hockey
- Mondays, 8:15-9:15p.m.
- $10.00 per session
- This class is designed to allow adults to learn to skate and learn the basics of playing hockey in a friendly, non-competitive, learn-at-your-own pace environment, without the risk of feeling
embarassed.
- We generally have one or more coaches to run drills to teach the basics of hockey skating, stickhandling, and team concepts.
- For adults only, no kids allowed.
- Helmets required, equipment recommended. A limited amount of equipment is for loan at the Skatium.
Skills & Drills
- Begins July 9
- Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30p.m.
- $10.00
- Coached by Joe Castrodale.
- A more intense class for players that already have basic skating skills.
- Drills designed to focus on improving individual skills for a better overall hockey performance.
Private Lessons
- Private Lessons for both figure and hockey skating are available.
- Instructors set their own schedules, lengths, and prices.
- Length of lesson is typically 15-60 minutes.
- Private lesson fees are generally $40 to $60 per hour payable directly to the instructor.
- Private lesson fees do not cover public session admission, freestyle ice fees, or skate rental.
