ARKANSAS SKATIUM

About Us

Smiley Waving

The Arkansas Skatium was originally constructed as strictly a roller rink. It was first known as "SkateWorld" and was built in 1976. Later, the ice rink was added on. In June 2000, Jay Gaddy and Lonnie Hannah purchased the building from Lech Matuszewski and renamed it the Arkansas Skatium.

The Arkansas Skatium is Arkansas' only ice and roller skating facility. You can roller skate, ice skate, or both. There is also a figure skating club, as well as youth hockey leagues and recreational adult hockey leagues. Broomball is also available. In addition, you can hold birthday and other parties here, using the ice or roller side, and hold it during public sessions or enjoy the rink to yourself with a private party. Daycares, schools, and other groups are always welcome at special discounts.

The snack bar, accessible to both the ice and roller rinks, serves a variety of items, including cold drinks, hot drinks, ice cream, candy, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and much more.
